This five-pack of the 16-Gauge Ram-Shell cartridge assemblies comes with a 10-pack of .67 caliber hard nylon projectiles.
Powder-actuated-tool blanks are not included.
The cartridges are intended for controlled training, testing, and familiarization using compatible components described in the technical documentation.
Considering the generally fairly high cost of 16-Gauge ammunition, this product allows for testing and familiarization of 16-Gauge shotguns at a lower cost.
Since the ABS hull is designed for high impact strength, use of a very tight fitting, .67 caliber ball projectil is possible (the same projectiles as can be loaded in the 12-Gauge version).
The barrel dimensions of the 16-Gauge specification defines the minimum diameter as 0.665 inches with an upper tolerance size of 0.685.
Note: Prior to firing these projectiles for the first time, barrel tolerance should be verified by droping one of the .67 ball projectiles through the barrel. They should fall freely with minimum friction. If that is not the case, do not use and seek smaller diameter projectiles instead.
